Breakfast Naan Pizza

What you need:
1 flat of Tandoori Naan bread (This is a traditional bread from India, but you can find it in the bakery or specialty area of most large grocery stores)
1-1 1/2 cups of thick shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 Jalapeno and Pepper Jack cheese stick, broken into cubes
2-3 tablespoons of any pizza or spaghetti sauce (just use enough to make you happy)
1 small handful of pre-cooked, ready to heat sausage crumbles

Directions:
1. Pre-heat your oven or toaster oven to 400 degrees, 350 if your oven runs hot. Spread the sauce onto your Naan with the back of a large spoon.
2. Next, smother your pizza in cheese! Then place the Pepper Jack cheese cubes randomly on your pizza.
3. Then strategically place sausage bits on the Naan so they won't fall off, if you would like, you may add other toppings such as peppers and onions. :)
4. Now, it is time to place your magnificent creation into the oven to bake just until the cheese melts to perfection. Usually around 5 minutes, but keep an eye on it, just in case.
5. When your pizza is done, take it out, cut it into mini-slices and enjoy!

Recipe #1

Easy String Cheese Pizza

What you will need:
  • Bisquick Biscuit Mix
  • Mozzarella String Cheese
  • Sun Dried Tomato & Basil Cheese (optional, but it tastes better)
  • Basil
  • Oregano
  • Garlic Powder
  • Rosemary
  • Sage
  • Red Pepper
  • Tomato Paste (6 oz)
  • A Cookie Sheet
  • Butter
Prep:
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Grease cookie sheet with butter
How To:
  1. Start with about a cup and a half of Bisquick Biscuit mix in a bowl. Add water until it has a dough-like appearance. Feel free to add more Mix if you want a bigger pizza.
  2. Knead the dough in the bowl and mix in a couple pinches each of Oregano, Basil, and Garlic, and one pinch each of Sage and Rosemary.
  3. With your hands, press the dough into the general shape of a pizza crust with the edges folded over. Set aside.
  4. In a small sauce pan, stir basil, oregano, garlic, sage, rosemary, and red pepper into tomato paste (to taste). Heat thoroughly.
  5. Using a knife, cut slits or poke holes (small ones) in the pizza crust. VERY IMPORTANT! You won't be able to fit it in your mouth if you skip this step.
  6. Put a sufficient amount of pizza sauce onto the crust without spilling.
  7. Pull out your cheeses. Peel string cheese into halves and cover the majority of the pizza. Then taking small slices of the sun dried tomato and basil cheese, fill in any gaps.
  8. Put your pizza on the cookie sheet if you haven't already done so (make sure the pan is greased with butter first) and place it in the oven. Cook 10-12 minutes or until edges are brown.
  9. Pull out, let cool, cut into slices (or any other kind of shape) and dig in.
We hope you enjoy this pizza! Comments, questions, and tips are welcome!
